    Dr. Abdullah is an internationally celebrated plastic/cosmetic surgeon and a recognized expert on the restorative and effects of aloe vera. He is a pioneer in the practice of applying pharmaceutical-grade aloe vera to surgical flaps to expedite healing.

    Dr. Abdullah has served as a clinical professor of plastic surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and has served on the Ethics Committee of the North Dakota Medical Association. Additionally, he frequently lectures at esthetics schools throughout the country.

    Dr. Abdullah is the author of Simple Skincare, Beautiful Skin: A-Back-to-Basics Approach, which details the specific needs of various skin types while making skin care easy to understand. Simple Skincare provides consumers with the tools to choose products and treatments that are right for their skin.

    Dr. Abdullah is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, The International College of Surgeons, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and The American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery. He is an active member of the International Aloe Science Council (IASC) and has served on its Board of Directors.

Education and Experience

Throughout his more than 25 years as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Abdullah has performed more than 6,000 surgical procedures and has accumulated more than 16,000 hours in the operating room. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. 

Dr. Abdullah earned his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where he trained under Drs. Martin Robson and John Heggers, who pioneered much of the research related to aloe’s healing abilities.
